ABOUT MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I'm a food technologist with significant experience - gained both abroad and in Italy in a number of food and beverage sectors: dairy, meat, and coffee.
In addition, I also have considerable know-how about food packaging as I worked for 5 years in a packaging company.
I have always held key roles such as: Technical Director, Plant Manager, Quality Manager - in the following areas: Production, Quality Control, Research & Development.
These diverse work experiences have exposed me to different sectors and sides of the business process, allowing me to appreciate facets of the same problem.
I think one of my biggest strengths is my ability to adapt both culturally and linguistically in any given situation as well as my capacity to gain an understanding of new or unknown situations quickly.
I am convinced that Teamwork is a strength and what it can generate for goals.
I believe in Kaizen's philosophy and continuous improvement through optimizing organization and processes by eliminating waste. I understood the power of statistics through acquiring a certificate as a Lean six-sigma Black Belt. I love analysing problems with numbers and facts thanks to this program.
My favourite quote is: "Impossible is nothing"
ABOUT MY LIFE AND SPORT PASSION
This website was born to share my passion for sports and the huge connection between sports experience and business.
Emanuele has lived alongside sports all his life. He played volleyball for 20 years while practicing several other disciplines simultaneously, including athletics (reaching the national youth finals in the high jump), swimming, running (participating in half marathons), martial arts, and rock climbing.
Between 2004 and 2006, he lived in Tanzania, where, as the manager of a humanitarian project, he launched a social dairy for the NGO CEFA. During this experience, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro without any specific preparation.
Starting in 2010, he embarked on a career as a volleyball coach and began a mental coaching journey with Luciano Sabbatini. Together, they experimented with and developed training programs focused on the invisible factor: the mind. Emanuele created a methodology based on motivational videos that would be used throughout all seasons, producing more than 40 videos.
In 2012, he became a certified NLP Practitioner through NLP Italy, and in 2013, he obtained the qualification of Professional Coach, also with NLP Italy. During this period, he applied visualization techniques with some athletes for pre-match relaxation, injury recovery, and emotional management.
From 2013 to 2016, he lived in China, where, as a Plant Director, he had to motivate and coordinate Chinese employees.
From 2023 to 2025, he lived in the USA, where, as VP Quality & Procurement, he managed the US team and discovered the American culture and history. He touched directly the huge coaching and sports culture that is inside every aspect of US lives.
He is currently Food Safety Director at Lavazza, where he continues to pursue his mission: working toward clear objectives while nurturing the motivation of his team, with the awareness that in companies—as in sports teams—the real difference is made by people, the group, the team.
Interaction and the enhancement of each team member are essential in any environment to achieve the final result.
“Together we win, together we lose!”
